Director of Intelligence
Roberta brings a strong interdisciplinary background to her role as Blackbird.AI’s Director of Intelligence, drawing on her previous career experiences in the military, post-conflict humanitarian development, journalism, and corporate risk intelligence, and working in the UK and the Middle East. These diverse professional roles have held in common a need to interpret the world in a way that generates a deeper understanding of the forces that influence individuals and wider society. This principle finds direction application to Blackbird.AI’s mission developing innovative solutions to tackle information manipulation within our digital ecosystems.
Roberta holds a Master’s degree in Global Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Oxford University. She is a published academic author and her research interests lie at the intersection of technology, governance and society.
