Wasim is the CEO and Co-Founder of Blackbird.AI, an AI-driven Risk & Narrative Intelligence Platform dedicated to leading the global fight against disinformation.
A computer scientist by trade, Wasim has studied information operations, computational propaganda, behavioral science, AI and the applications of these combined disciplines to defense, cyber and risk intelligence. Wasim has consulted and advised government agencies and Fortune 500 companies on the risks and mitigation of the escalating information warfare.
Wasim is a member of the Social Intelligence Lab and the U.S. Department of State’s Global Engagement Center’s Disinfo Cloud. He has been featured on TechCrunch, WIRED, Bloomberg, Fortune, Forbes and WTOP.
Prior to Blackbird, Wasim founded LuxMobile, an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company in America, earning the distinction of Inc. 500 Asian Entrepreneur of the Year.
